The vapor lock problem was the coil! After exhausting all ideas sent to me we figured out that it was not a vapor lock at all. Once we figured out that it might be the coil and put in a new generic coil all problems went away. We did not think it was coil related because a new original style coil was installed just after I purchased the Cord in June. Thanks for all the suggestions sent to me on vapor lock problems anyways, without trying some of these I could not have solved this problem.

PS I am still looking to purchase side mount mirrors. I just want to purchase what is correct for the Cord.
